Im sure you have been subscribed to a Mailing List and received an Email with a crazy Subject like “Im getting sued because my Internet Marketing Program is just too good!”. I get these type of Broadcasts all the time and they piss me off, it is merely an attempt to create hype about whatever the email is promoting so you feel like “I NEED IT!” kind of attitude.
However for me (and many other Internet Marketers) it is simply misleading and i usually Unsubscribe from a list if i get just one of these emails.
The reason why these types of Broadcasts get a negative response is that they create a false sense of hope in the reader as its all “Hype”.
Here are my tips for keeping Email Subscribers happy:
1. Only Broadcast messages which are 100% Related to the reason why they signed up in the first place
• Don’t try to promote a product on Weight Loss when your Subscriber List signed up for Internet Marketing tips
2. If you are Broadcasting to sell a Product make sure to keep the Email Subject 100% Relative
• Don’t have a stupid subject like “Im getting sued” or “Im closing the doors” as its misleading and will get a negative response
3. If you are promoting something then create a personal review of it on either a basic HTML Page or a Blog so that your readers feel comfortable knowing that it was recommended by you
• If this means purchasing the product to write a more thorough review then do it! You will soon make your money back
Remember your Subscribers are a very important Marketing Tool so keep them happy, never spam or lie to them!
