The Benefits Of Building A Mailing List

Building a Subscriber based Mailing List is what all Experienced Internet Marketers aim for. This Mailing List is how a significant amount of internet marketers make their online income. A Mailing List can be made for any Niche or Topic and if targetted properly can make you a repeat income time and time again.

Lets say for instance you create a Weight Loss Blog and on this blog you give out free weight loss tips to your visitors. By doing this you are already convincing your readers that you know about the Topic in question and you are either qualified or experienced enough to give advice. If the tips you give out on your Blog are relevant and helpful then anyone reading may be interested in anything more you have to say and this is where a Mailing List steps in.

There are many different web sites online that allow you to create a professional Mailing List but the web site i recommend and use myself is Aweber

You can literally setup your Mailing List in a few minutes on Aweber and then simply Copy & Paste the HTML Code provided onto your web site and then turn your Visitors into Subscribers and Potential Customers.

However don’t just simply add your Mailing List Form onto your web site and wait for Signups as this just doesn’t work. You need to convince your readers that in exchange for them Signing Up to your Mailing List with their Name and Email (which many people don’t like to do) you will provide them with real honest advice.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!

After you have created a welcome email for your Subscribers you need to make Follow Up Emails which contain helpful Information and/or Tips on the chosen Topic of your Web Site so for example “Weight Loss”. I recommend creating at least 3-5 follow up emails which contain genuinely helpful advice as this will only convince your Subscibrers more that you really want to help them on their Weight Loss Journey.

Never EVER spam your Subscribers with Affiliate Programs or your own Programs as they will either report you as Spam or simply unsubscribe and you will have lost potential sales and even more important REPEAT SALES!

So Lets Recap:

• Create a Blog or Web Site on a Niche (I prefer Blogs)

• Make a Mailing List targetted to your Niche and apply it to your web site or blog

• Create a nice Welcome Email and 3-5 Follow Up Emails with helpful tips and advice on the Niche

• Never Spam! & Never Lie! or you will lose your Subscribers

Real Benefits of a Mailing List:

• Potential Customers are on the list

• Possible Repeat Sales from these Subscribers if you build a long term relationship

• The bigger your list the more chance you have of Joint Ventures with other Affiliates and/or Vendors which means bonus commissions

Remember these Subscribers are your “Potential Customers” so treat them with respect and only try and sell them Programs that are 100% related to Weight Loss if that is your chosen Niche.
