This is a common question i see asked on many Webmaster Forums and the simple answer is this…
WEBSITE FIRST!
Why on earth would you give your fresh content to a profiting adsense website like an Article Directory before your own Property?
Here is what i do
Step 1 – Publish on my own website first
* This is VERY IMPORTANT, the content is yours so DO NOT give it to a Directory first as this is just silly
Step 2 – After Publishing the Article on your own website make sure you tweak it a little before submitting to the Article Directories
* I find its always best modifying the Article slightly so that other Directories re-publish it too. You only need to make ever so slight changes to the Article such as Title and Body.
Step 3 – Submit to all the Major Directories
* Such as EzineArticles, GoArticles, AritlceBase etc
I have been doing this strategy for many years now and it works just fine for me. If you want to generate a bit more income try making Squidoo Modules on Lenses on the main points of your Articles.
Rinse and Repeat.
