Twitter is a very powerful marketing tool for promoting your business and/or website. In order to take advantage of Twitter you need followers, the more followers you have the more exposure your tweets will get.
You may have noticed that when following certain people on Twitter you automatically receive a message saying something like “thanks for following me, check out my website” etc, this automatic messaging is not supported by Twitter itself but by a service such as SocialOomph
How To Send Messages Automatically
1. Create an Account at SocialOomph
Takes less than a minute!
2. Add Your Twitter Account
Social Accounts > Add New Account
3. Add Your Welcome Message
Social Accounts > Edit Welcome DM
Enter a quick welcome message along the lines of what i wrote in the below screenshot and then click “Save” at the bottom. You can also choose to automatically follow people who follow you on this screen aswell.
and your done!
In less than 5 minutes i have created a welcome message that is automatically sent to my new Twitter followers advertising my website. You can also add multiple Twitter accounts to your SocialOomph account and then simply repeat the process.
