A Niche is a subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing. There are many Niches to Make Money from online ranging from Weight Loss to Forex Trading.
The key to successful Online Marketing is finding a Niche which is not saturated and by saturated i mean over populated. The main problem with saturated Niches is that you will be competing with a lot of other Internet Marketers who probably know the market like the back of their hand.
How to Find a Niche
Now in order to find a Niche that is both profitable and untapped you will need to use a few tools which are provided free by Google.
The first tool is Google Trends which allows you to compare the world’s interest in specific topics. Google Trends also shows how frequently a topic has appeared in Google News stories, and in which geographic regions people have searched for them most.
The fantastic thing about Google Trends is that allows you to quickly identify what people are looking for during specific times of the year and if you record this information you can create Marketing Campaigns spread out throughout the year which will convert better at certain times.
For Example:
Someone may be more interested in Weight Loss a few months before Summer so that they can get a beach body ready for the sun compared to the Winter months.
Making Money for Winter/Spring
& Weight Loss for Summer/Autumn
If i were to promote a Making Money Program on Clickbank then i would probably advertise this type of web site before and just after Christmas as everyone spends a lot of money in this period and im sure most of them would like to make some back.
If you want to make Super Affiliate status then you need to be keeping an eye on the latest Trends and then start promotional campaigns for them promoting relative products on Networks such as Clickbank or CPA Networks such as CPALead
It will be a lot easier to generate revenue from Article Marketing if you keep an eye on the latest trends as you will be one of the first to get relative Articles online and you should notice good ranks on the search engines.
